Art Final-Self Portrait Ink and Brush

Don't even ask me how long this took me because I don't even want to know probably like 8 to 10 hours or so.

Man this thing was a huge challenge. I've never worked with brush and ink before so this project was really difficult for me. I had to have the teacher mi the water and ink because I couldn't seem to get a hang of it.

But yeah so this is my finished art final for my Drawing class. We had to go out and do a photoshoot of ourselves doing something that not many people know about us and/or something we like to do. I originally was going to do a picture of me reading, but the teacher said I should reshoot. He had seen my in my halloween costume earlier that week, and said that I had an awesome costume. I told him about Homestuck and he said it was really cool that I was so passionate about something, and said that maybe I should do a self portait of myself in the costume. No one in my class knew I was interested in Homestuck o it fit the criteria so I said yes. And so I had my friend take a picture of myself in my Aradia horns (I didn't paint my body because a) I didn't have enough face paint, and b) it took me an hour and a half to get into my costume with the body paint and I didn't want to go through all the hassle just to get a handful of pictures. Plus halloween had just passed and i didn't really feel like doing it all over again), changed the picture to black in white, traced it, projected it onto a huge piece of paper, traced it again, and then finally painted it. Actually now that I'm thinking of the whole process it probably took me like 2 or 3 days (48 to 72 hours straight of nonstop work) to get everything done.

Anywho I hope you guys all like this. I worked REALLY hard on it.
